About Irish Point of Single Contact
The Irish Point of Single Contact (PSC) is located in the Internal Market Unit of the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment.
The main role of the PSC is to provide general information on the procedures required for Irish and EU businesses who intend to operate in Ireland.
The PSC is part of the European Commission Network of Points of Single Contact established in each EU country.
Irish businesses can use this Network as a key information resource when operating in the Single Market. For example, if intending on doing business in France - contact the French Point of Single Contact for information on the relevant procedures required.
The Irish Point of Single Contact (PSC) was established as required under the Services Directive 2006/123/EC.

Search for a service on the Point of Single Contact
To search for a service listed on the Point of Single Contact website (PSC) use the search-box or click Browse by Sector.
Browse by Sector will allow you to find information on services, such as Engineering, Healthcare, Travel and Tourism, etc.
Information available on the PSC
Under each service, there are links to the relevant authorities' websites for that service. These links contain specific information regarding procedures, legislation, application forms and contact details for the relevant competent authority.
The information provided on the PSC is of a general nature. If you are seeking detailed information on a particular service, you should contact the relevant competent authority directly for the most up to date information.
