Tobacco Retailer

Competent Authority

All those who sell or intend to sell tobacco products by retail, whether over the counter or from a self-service vending machine, must register with the Health Service Executive, National Tobacco Control Office (NTCO).

 

Registration Procedure

Registering as a tobacco retailer in Ireland can be done online (application link). 

The online application system will allow service providers to:

File an application to be a registered tobacco retailer
File updates to their registered details
View / Monitor previously filed forms

The application fee is €50
